Welcome to Nebraska Prep Zone
Brian Norton Omaha World-Herald

Nebraska Prep Zone officially launches today. The new site will be a one-stop shop for Nebraska prep sports fans, including scores, stats, photos, videos, forums, blogs and live streaming game broadcasts.

The live broadcasts will begin this Thursday with the first edition of Thursday Night Showdown. Millard West will face Omaha North to open the season. See the full schedule and learn more about the broadcasts with KXVO.

There are multiple ways to customize the site. You can use the Team Tracker to follow your favorite team and get the latest headlines and scores. Just pick your team from the drop down menu and the same team should be selected the next time you visit.

Also, there are eight zones to choose from on the site. Statewide will give you the best news of the day from across the state, while the individual zones (Omaha/Lincoln, Kearney, Grand Island, North Platte, York, Scottsbluff) will provide you with news that hits closer to home.

NEPrepZone.com is a joint project between The Omaha World-Herald, Grand Island Independent, Kearney Hub, North Platte Telegraph, Scottsbluff Star-Herald and York News-Times. You can learn more about the site by reading this article.

Let us know what you think of the site. We welcome feedback and suggestions.
