Recruiting: Shelton chooses USC
Jon Nyatawa Omaha World-Herald

Nebraska appeared to be in a decent position with California cornerback Devian Shelton — well, until USC offered him a scholarship this week.

Shelton has committed to USC and reportedly has now signed a letter of intent, according to multiple recruiting services (247Sports’ Scott Schrader tweeted about Shelton’s Wednesday decision).

Shelton, a former Oregon State commit, took an official visit to Nebraska last month. He was also considering Washington. He’s a 6-foot-2, 185-pounder from Inglewood, Calif., rated as the nation’s No. 22 cornerback by 247Sports.

Sorry, this information is false. Max said last night that he chose Oregon State. Please check in with Max before posting these lies again.

Also the reports of Curry and Moore being N are also false, as Justin made us aware yesterday that we would not being recieving any NSD commits this year.

    1. Mark Schlautman says:

Curry not “N?” Shows what you know. Or think you know.

    2. Justin says:

I stand pleasantly corrected regarding my LOI commits today. Very pleased with the class. Peat made a grown up decision. Now let’s develop this talent Bo! Looking back at our recruiting classes, nobody really knocks my socks off. Hopefully we are headed in the right direction.

  2. Mosier says:

That puts them at 16. (not sure how that’s possible)

Just improving our chances with Peat.

  3. James says:

Peat to Stanford. And Oregon State lost out because Monte Kiffin told him Bo does not have what it takes and he jumped to usc
