Creighton-Wichita State sold out
BY | 2:28 pm, Thursday, Feb. 9 | POSTED IN Bluejays Today

The Creighton men’s basketball team, attempting to bounce back from two straight losses, should have plenty of crowd support on Saturday.

The Bluejays’ 4 p.m. game with Wichita State has already sold out of reserved tickets. A limited number of standing room only tickets will be available for purchase at the CenturyLink Center box office starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

This will be the sixth home sellout this season for Creighton, which ranks eighth nationally with a home attendance average of 16,534.

And, if you’ve already got your ticket, don’t forget to wear white as Saturday’s game is the annual white out game.

Hope they can ger it back on track. This had the makings of one of those special seasons that could move the Jays up to the level of Gonzaga and Butler. This is still out there for them but they need to kick serious butt through the rest of the valley and then make some noise at the dance.

Or they can crash and burn in spectacular fashion. I hope they rebound. Their last two games were so painfully poor compared to what they are capable of doing when running on all cylinders.

  3. Tony says:

Wow! That is amazing; eighth in the nation in attendance. Let’s get back to winning on Saturday. I hope every one of the 19,000 is ready to be loud.
