Before this season, the Nebraska men’s baskeball team hadn’t played Purdue in 32 years.
Now, the Huskers are set to face the Boilermakers for the second time in two weeks.
NU, the 11th seed, and Purdue, the sixth seed, will meet in the first round of the Big Ten tournament Thursday. Tipoff in the fourth game of the day is set for approximately 7:15 p.m. CST.
Purdue won the first meeting 83-65 in West Lafayette, Ind. The Boilermakers will have a home court advantage at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis. That’s just more than an hour drive from campus.
