Nebraska’s top secondary recruit for the 2010 class, Houston-area corner Charles Jackson, appears finally (officially) on his way to NU.
Jackson’s Twitter feed read last night: “Today is the day that im actually qualified.” That is, by the NCAA, which has been holding up Jackson’s entrance into NU pending academic qualifications. Instead of enrolling in a junior college and playing there, Jackson chose — like Braylon Heard before him — to delay his entrance into college, work to academically qualify, and enroll at Nebraska as a freshman.
