The Niobrara Valley Conference has announced that it has voted to accept three new members into the conference beginning in the 2013-2014 school year.  Elkhorn Valley, Neligh-Oakdale, and West Holt will join the NVC as full conference members in the 2013-2014 school year.  All three schools were former members of the NENAC Conference.

They will joing the following schools to create an 18-school conference which will consist of 14 athletic teams:

Chambers, Clearwater/Orchard, Elgin/Elgin Pope John, Ewing, Keya Paha, Lynch, Niobrara, Rock County, Santee, O’Neill St. Mary’s, Stuart, Verdigre, West Boyd, Wheeler Central
