World-Herald Sports Omaha World-Herald

Nebraska picked up a second commitment out of Big Red Weekend. Gabriel Miller, a long snapper from Mishawaka, Ind., picked Nebraska on Sunday, after receiving an offer on Saturday.

The 6-foot-1, 240-pound Miller picked the Huskers over Eastern Michigan. He also was receiving attention from Illinois, Purdue, Indiana and Duke.

“The tradition, they have top-notch facilities, the coaches are great,” Miller told HuskersIllustrated.com on Sunday. “It was big for my parents, they wanted to feel comfortable about me coming here and now they love it, and I’m going to enjoy my time down here.”
