I can’t remember, actually. I think there was a Worlds of Fun/Adventureland marathon in there somewhere, that involved a stop at Stroud’s and Jethro’s BBQ. So say the stains on my shirts.

What I know is I need to get back to work, so I can get some rest.

I’m back today. Let’s start with a chat at 1 p.m. Monday, the new day and time that will carry us through football season and the annual rite of fall we like to call the Bo Pelini news conferences. Yes, it’s that time.

First downs and second guesses returns on Tuesday. Then it’s off to Chicago and the Big Ten Football Kickoff.

Too bad there’s nothing going on.

We’ll have some NCAA news Monday morning, in fact, and I’m all for the NCAA being able to act on Penn State. I have a feeling I’m going to disagree with the action.
