Alonzo heading up Husker way

2012 Nebraska signee Alonzo Moore told several recruiting sites Wednesday that he’s now academically eligible to play this year at Nebraska.

A NU football spokesman said there’s not a confirmation announcement at this time. Coach Bo Pelini will get the question tonight.

Moore can only join the 105-man roster if some player gets hurt and has to miss camp.

Still left to qualify: South Jordan (Utah) linebacker Jared Afalava.
