Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst offensive lineman Zach Hannon Wednesday on Twitter announced his commitment to Nebraska over Missouri and Arkansas. The 6-foot-5, 300-pounder is a three-star prospect according to all major recruiting services. He’s projected as a guard in NU’s offense.
Hannon made several unofficial visits to Nebraska since the spring, including a trip with his family for Big Red Weekend.
He’s the second offensive lineman to commit to the 2013 class. The first is Plymouth (Ind.) guard Dan Samuelson.
Hannon’s former high school teammate, Michael Rose signed in 2012 with the Huskers and plays linebacker.
