According to a Twitter picture from a Rivals.com analyst, former Auburn defensive back Jonathan Rose intends to transfer to Nebraska. He played as a true freshman for the Tigers before being dismissed from the program and choosing not to return. He has a prior relationship with new NU defensive backs coach Terry Joseph.

In 2011, the 6-foot-2, 185-pounder was ranked at the No. 88 overall player in the country by 247Sports, No. 112 by Rivals and No. 152 by Scout. He’ll have to sit out a year, but he’ll be eligible to play for the Huskers as a sophomore in 2013. He could be a corner or a safety.

More to come.
