Creighton Bluejay fans and others are welcome to help Kyle Korver and other former Creighton basketball players at a community cleanup Saturday.

The Abide Network is partnering with Korver, an NBA player with the Atlanta Hawks, to paint houses and clean up the neighborhood near the network’s headquarters at 3335 Fowler Ave.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon. Organizers will provide all the paint brushes, rollers and work equipment, said Josh Dotzler, another former Bluejay, who is on the Abide staff. “They would just need to show up and be ready to be put to work,” he said.

Members of the Abide group live and work in areas in need of revitalization.
