Nebraska 17th in AP poll

Nebraska starts 17th in the Associated Press preseason top 25 poll. That’s one spot below its No. 16 ranking in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll.

USC is No. 1 in the AP poll. Michigan is the top Big Ten team at No. 8. The Wolverines even received a No. 1 vote. Wisconsin is No. 12, Michigan State No. 13 and Ohio State No. 18.
