Nebraska star running back Rex Burkhead is not expected to return to Saturday’s game. Neither is receiver Tim Marlowe.

Burkhead has a sprained MCL, according to the ABC broadcast. He was seen sitting on a sideline bench with his left knee wrapped in ice.

Marlowe separated his shoulder, ABC reported. He took a hard fall lunging for an over-the-middle pass late in the first quarter.
