Nebraska coach Bo Pelini told reporters Monday that there were “no changes” in running back Rex Burkhead’s status for Saturday’s game at UCLA.

“He’s questionable,” Pelini said. “Day to day.”

Burkhead strained his left knee Saturday on his third carry of the game. He got a MRI Sunday and had a “good day” Monday, Pelini said. No surgery will be required. The senior is on the travel roster for the game vs. the Bruins for now.
