Getting a closer look at NU recruit Johnny Stanton

Later this evening I’m traveling to Mission Viejo High School to watch Nebraska quarterback commit Johnny Stanton lead the Santa Margarita Eagles against neighborhood rival Trabuco Hills.

This will be Santa Margarita’s third game of the season. The Eagles already own victories over Brophy College Prep of Arizona (27-14) and Long Beach Jordan (35-6).

Santa Margarita is ranked No. 5 nationally by USA Today after the first two weeks of the season. Later this evening I’ll update you on how the QB some have nicknamed Johnny Tebow did against Trabuco Hills.
