>> Volleyball: Stanton (24-2) vs. Villisca (12-10) in Corner Conference tournament final, 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Farragut. Villisca rallied from a two-set deficit to edge Nishnabotna in the semifinals while Stanton swept Fremont-Mills.
>> Volleyball: Harlan (23-3, 5-1) at Carroll Kuemper (22-3, 6-0), 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Kuemper survived a five-set thriller with Clarinda Tuesday, and can take a huge step toward an outright Hawkeye Ten title with a win.
>> Football: Logan-Magnolia (5-1, 4-0) at Underwood (4-2, 4-0), 7 p.m. Friday. The outright lead in Class A, District 8 is at stake.
>> Football: CB Lewis Central (5-1, 2-1) at Harlan (5-1, 2-1), 7:30 p.m. At least one outstanding football team will be left out of the postseason in 3-A, District 1, and the loser here puts itself in danger.

>> Taylor Delaughter and Dom Thompson-Williams, Sioux City East: Continued their torrid pace, with Delaughter completing 29 of 39 for 353 yards and two touchdowns in a 43-0 win against Indianola, and Thompson-Williams catching 14 passes for 219 yards and two TDs.
>> Harrison Hoegh, Atlantic: Completed 20 of 29 for 374 yards and three TDs as the Trojans rallied for a 28-27 win against ADM.
>> Derek Jones and Spencer Smith, Glenwood: In a 35-15 win over Sergeant Bluff-Luton, Jones carried 19 times for 153 yards and three TDs while Smith rushed eight times for 163 yards and a score.
>> Nate Johnston and Anthony Beyerink, Carroll: Johnston carried 22 times for 134 yards and Beyerink added 127 rushing yards on 17 attempts and a score in the Tigers’ 28-7 win against Spencer.
>> Lucas Smith-Petersen, Audubon: An injury moved the receiver into the backfield, and he responded with 17 carries for 124 yards and two TDs in a 32-7 win against Guthrie Center.
>> Cole Bonde, Bedford: Rebounding from a 43-42 overtime loss to Audubon with a 20-13 overtime win over Martensdale-St. Marys, he carried 20 times for 174 yards and two TDs and made 13 tackles.
>> Jake Larson, A-H-S-T: In a 21-6 win against Riverside, he rushed 24 times for 208 yards and three scores and made 16 tackles, including 11 solos.
>> Caden McDonald, Logan-Magnolia: Carried 12 times for 144 yards and three TDs in a 49-6 win against Westwood.
>> Tyler Birdsall, West Harrison: Rushed 12 times for 170 yards and three TDs in a 68-24 Eight-Man win against Nishnabotna.
>> Kyle Kuhlman, Woodbine: In a 49-12 Eight-Man win over Ar-We-Va, he carried eight times for 166 yards and three TDs.
>> Brady Runyan, CAM: Carried nine times for 115 yards and a touchdown in a 60-20 Eight-Man win against Lenox.
>> Blaine Williams, Corning: Rushed 10 times for 115 yards and a score, making 10 tackles as the Red Raiders rallied past Villisca 34-32.
>> Jeff Marshall, Stanton: Rushed 31 times for 165 yards and made 20 tackles in the Vikings’ 20-16 win against Essex/South Page.

>> Meagan Kerns, MVAO: In a four-set win against Ridge View, she pounded 28 kills and added eight blocks.
>> Kyra Skelton, Missouri Valley: The sophomore had 17 kills with a .640 hitting efficiency in a five-set win over Audubon.
>> Nicole Dentlinger, Coon Rapids-Bayard: In a four-set win against West Central Valley, the junior had 18 kills and six aces.
>> Amanda Focht and Jill Vanderhoof, Villisca: Focht smacked 20 kills and Vanderhoof 18 as the Bluejays outlasted Nishnabotna in five sets in the Corner Conference semifinals.
