Lost in the meltdown Saturday night at Ohio State was another big-time performance by Nebraska receiver Kenny Bell.
Bell caught five passes for 133 yards, including a 74-yarder on the second-quarter drive where the Huskers took their final lead at 24-21.
Bell leads NU with 20 catches and four touchdowns. The sophomore also tops all Big Ten receivers with his average of 23.2 yards per reception.
“Kenny’s played at a pretty high level,” Nebraska coach Bo Pelini said Tuesday. “He’s a dangerous guy. People got to pay attention to him. He can hurt you in a heartbeat.”
