UNO men facing long road trip

The UNO men will start a long road trip with a 6 p.m. game at IPFW on Saturday.
The Mavericks will then play at Milwaukee on Tuesday.

Fort Wayne enters the game 0-12-1 and 0-2-1 in the Summit League.

The Fort Wayne game is a big one as the Mavs fight for position in the Summit League standings. They sit in third place with seven points, two behind unbeaten co-leaders Oakland and Missouri-Kansas City.

Kansas City plays at Oakland on Saturday, meaning that a win for the 4-6-1 and 2-0-1 Mavs would put them, at worst, alone in second with three conference games to go. The Mavs cannot qualify for the conference tournament.

IPFW beat UNO 6-0 last year in its third game as a program.
