Minnesota coach Jerry Kill, who suffered an epileptic seizure shortly after Saturday’s loss to Northwestern, was released from the hospital Sunday morning.

Kill, who had two such episodes last season, was taken by ambulance from TCF Bank Stadium shortly after his postgame press conference about UM’s 21-13 loss to Northwestern.

Minnesota officials said they expected Kill to return to work as early as Sunday night. The seizure occurred in his private dressing area of the team locker room.
