Michigan maybe down a man
Lee Barfknecht Omaha World-Herald

After writing about Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson for Sunday, I’ll look ahead in my Monday column to the Wolverines’ rapidly improving defense.

That unit may be down a man for this week’s Nebraska game after starting left cornerback Raymon Taylor suffered a left elbow injury that appeared to be a dislocation or hyper-extension.

Coach Brady Hoke called it a “boo-boo.”

Michigan, which has improved to 10th nationally in total defense, gave up just 304 yards and one touchdown to Michigan State in Saturday’s 12-10 victory.
