Updating the Big Ten Legends Division race
Big Red Today Omaha World-Herald

1. Michigan ……………… (3-0, 5-2)
T2. Nebraska ……………… (2-1, 5-2)
T2. Iowa ……………… (2-1, 4-3)
4. Northwestern ……………… (2-2, 6-2)
5. Michigan State ……………… (1-3, 4-4)
6. Minnesota ……………… (0-3, 4-3)

>> NU gets the head-to-head tiebreaker over Michigan with a win Saturday, giving the Huskers the Big Ten title game berth even if the teams finish with identical league records.

>> If Nebraska loses to Michigan, the only way it jumps UM in the division standings is if NU wins out and the Wolverines drop three of their final four games (road games at Minnesota and Ohio State, and home games against Northwestern and Iowa).

>> If the Huskers lose Saturday, they could also get to Indianapolis through the league’s multi-team tiebreaker rules. Example scenario: NU, Michigan and another squad tie for first at 6-2, with intra-division performance likely being the determining factor.

>> Iowa still must play at Michigan and host Nebraska, but its other three league games are against teams with a combined 2-8 conference record.
