Tim Miles needs more players. And he wants them for this season.

The Nebraska basketball team will hold an informational meeting this week for students interested in joining the team as walk-ons.

Here’s the NU press release:

“If you wanted an opportunity to try out for the Nebraska men’s basketball team, a mandatory informational meeting will take place this Thursday, Oct. 25, at 3:30 p.m., at the Hendricks Training Complex.

“To attend Thursday’s meeting and attempt to try out for the basketball program, you must be a full-time University of Nebraska student taking a minimum of 12 hours in the fall semester and must bring a valid N-Card to Thursday’s meeting. At the meeting, candidates will learn about the tryout process and how to join the Husker basketball program.”
