The BTN documentary series “Big Ten Elite” will feature a one-hour show on the 1994 Nebraska football team.
The ’94 Huskers overcame quarterback Tommie Frazier’s blood clots and an injury to Brook Berringer to complete an undefeated season and win a Big Eight championship. They then rallied in the Orange Bowl to beat Miami 24-17 and earn Tom Osborne’s first national championship.
The program, which airs Tuesday at 7 p.m. and repeats at 9 p.m., provides behind-the-scene stories on some of the top teams in the conferences’ history.
Previous shows have highlighted the 2002 Ohio State and 1993 Wisconsin football teams.
The program on the ’94 Huskers will air again Wednesday at 11 a.m., Thursday at 9 p.m. and Saturday at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
