Nebraska coach Bo Pelini said after practice Thursday that Nebraska came through the week healthy in preparation for its trip to Michigan State.
The status of I-back Rex Burkhead, however, remains in doubt after the senior sat out last week with his ongoing knee trouble.
“He’s a possibility,” Pelini said. “We’ll see how it plays out.”
There is no such concern for quarterback Taylor Martinez, who got banged up in the Michigan game. Pelini said the junior was “in great shape.”
“I thought he had a really good week,” Pelini said. “He’s feeling good. I think health-wise we’re in good shape.”
