According to a report from Auburn Undercover, the former Nebraska offensive coordinator — who’s now coordinating undefeated Louisville’s offense — is a potential candidate at Auburn should the Tigers fire Gene Chizik.

The report says that AU President Jay Gogue told the school’s Board of Trustees last week  that, if Chizik were replaced, the school would like to move quickly to name his successor. And Watson, according to the report, was a candidate that Gogue mentioned.
