Five minutes before kickoff is an interesting time to announce a commit, but Nebraska picked one up from Katy (Texas) running back Adam Taylor. NU recruiting sites confirmed the news Saturday.
Taylor had a few schools (like LSU) cool on him because of a junior-season knee injury. The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Taylor has run for 1,591 yards and 26 touchdowns. Taylor had offers to Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Stanford, among other schools.
Taylor is given four stars by Rivals, ESPN and Scout.com, and three stars by 247Sports.com.
