The Penn State men’s basketball team suffered a huge blow Sunday when preseason All-Big Ten point guard Tim Frazier suffered a torn Achilles tendon, sidelining him for the season.
Frazier, a 6-foot-1 senior from Houston, was injured in an 85-60 loss to Akron in the Puerto Rico tip-off. He led the Nittany Lions in points, rebounds and assists last season.
PSU was picked 11th in the Big Ten, one spot ahead of Nebraska.
