Scouting CU: The Bluejays are seeking another win in the state of South Dakota after claiming their first victory of the season last week at South Dakota State. Senior Jasmin Corbin posted career highs with 11 points and six steals in the win. Corbin has 41 steals in her first 92 games as a Bluejay. One area where Creighton must improve is rebounding, as the Bluejays are minus-9.0 in rebounding margin. Ally Jensen, who stands just 5-foot-6, tied for the team lead in rebounding with seven against South Dakota State.

Scouting USD: This will be the Coyotes’ third straight game against a team from the Missouri Valley. They posted a 74-69 win over Drake but dropped a 63-50 decision to Northern Iowa. South Dakota posted a 56-53 overtime win over Creighton last season in Omaha. The Coyotes have been misfiring from beyond the arc as they have made just 9 of 50 3-point attempts. Sophomore Nicole Seekamp leads South Dakota in scoring, averaging 16.3 points per game.

Opening tips: Creighton leads the series 10-8, with the Bluejays posting a 79-61 win in their last game at the DakotaDome. … Creighton coach Jim Flanery owns the Dakotas. Under Flanery, Creighton is 6-0 in games played in either North or South Dakota . … South Dakota coach Amy Williams is a Nebraska graduate.
