Nebraska girls high school basketball players to watch

Alyssa Frauendorfer, Humphrey, 6-0, guard, Sr.: She averaged 25.7 points and 6.2 rebounds last season to lead the Bulldogs to a runner-up finish in Class D-1.

Jamie Kissinger, Minden, 5-9, guard, Jr.: She led the Whippets in scoring last season, averaging almost 17 points per game.

Brooke Kissinger, Minden, 5-7, guard, Jr.: The other half of the Kissinger sister combo, she averaged almost 16 points and had 51 steals.

Chatrice White, Shelby-Rising City, 6-3, guard, Jr.: She averaged 22 points and 15 rebounds last season for the Huskies.

Jayla Hobza, Bellevue East, 5-8, guard, Sr.: The 2010 All-Nebraska first-teamer is coming back from knee surgery that limited her to eight games last season.

Hannah Tvrdy, Seward, 5-10, guard, senior: The Nebraska recruit led the Bluejays last year with a 15.6 scoring average.

Alexa Kastanek, Lincoln Southeast, 5-9, guard, Sr.: The Iowa recruit averaged 15.8 points last season for the Class A runner-up Knights.

Jess Shepard, Lincoln Southeast, 6-3, forward, Sr.: The Nebraska recruit averaged a team-leading 18.7 points as a freshman.
