Nebraska wide receiver target Dominic Walker received an in-home visit from Husker offensive coordinator Tim Beck Thursday. Beck, Walker said, pushed for the commit. He didn’t quite get it, but NU’s in the top two with Cincinnati, which just lost its coach to Tennessee.
“I like both of them but I probably like Nebraska a little more because they have more to offer than Cincy,” the 6-foot-2, 185-pound Walker told the Orlando Sentinel about Nebraska. “They have the great facilities and great training and everything is first class all the way.”
Walker decides Dec. 30 at the Offense/Defense All-American Bowl in Houston. He’s a three-star prospect through most major scouting services with the exception of ESPN, which lists Walker as a four-star and the 238th overall player in the nation.
The Huskers’ top wide receiver target right now appears to Tre’vell Dixon, who committed to NU last year as a defensive back, decommitted over the summer, and now wants to play receiver. Dixon told Husker Online is his top four are Nebraska, TCU, Arizona State and Houston.
