Boys Basketball: Harlan Community at Creston
When: 7:30 p.m. Friday Records: Harlan (3-0, 3-0); Creston (5-0, 4-0)
Ratings: Harlan 5th WI (4-A/3-A); Creston 10th state (3-A)

Wrestling: Western Iowa Conference duals, 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday at Audubon. Underwood is fourth in The Predicament’s initial Class 1-A conventional tournament rankings while Tri-Center is ninth. They meet Saturday.
Boys basketball: Tri-Center (4-0, 3-0) at Riverside (5-0, 3-0), 7:45 p.m. Friday. Riverside is seventh in the state in 1-A and fifth in WI (2-A/1-A). Western Iowa Conference opponent Tri-Center is 10th in WI.
Girls basketball: Sioux City West (4-1, 3-0) at Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln (6-0, 3-0), 5:45 p.m. Friday. The Wolverines have their best team in many years and travel south for a Missouri River Conference test against the unbeaten Lynx.

IKM-Manning boys basketball coach Keith Wagner earned his 300th career victory in the Wolves’ 54-43 win against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto on Dec. 7. After beating River Valley on Dec. 8, Wagner’s career record is 301-131 (.697). Of those wins, 245 have come in his 13 years at Manning and then IKM-Manning.

Allison Waters, Underwood: The 5-foot-6 junior grabbed a five-player school-record 22 rebounds in a 51-36 Western Iowa Conference loss to Missouri Valley. Thirteen came on the offensive glass.
Mackenzie Holmes, Atlantic: Sank 4 of 5 3-pointers in a 16-point effort as the Trojanns earned their first win, a 54-45 Hawkeye Ten Conference decision against Clarinda.
Danika Grobe, A-H-S-T: Had a near triple-double with 25 points, 10 steals and nine rebounds in a 49-44 win against Essex.
Sydney Maynes, Corning: Finished with 19 points, six rebounds and five steals in a 60-31 Pride of Iowa Conference win over Lenox.
Lexi Albrecht, Carroll Kuemper: Had 14 points, eight rebounds and six assists in a 56-46 win against South Central Calhoun.
Cole Neary, Carroll Kuemper: Finished with 25 points and eight rebounds as the Knights knocked off Hawkeye Ten Conference foe Atlantic 64-57.
Brennan Azinger, Logan-Magnolia: Collected 22 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in a 77-71 Western Valley Conference win against River Valley.
Alex Welsch, Nodaway Valley: Had 24 points and 16 rebounds in a 58-26 Pride of Iowa Conference win over Mount Ayr.
Marcel Dunson, Sioux City East: Scored 19 points as the Black Raiders knocked off Sioux City Heelan 58-51 in Missouri River Conference play.
Travis Herzberg, Villisca: In a 72-36 Corner Conference win against Stanton, he finished with 31 points, nine rebounds and five assists.
Nathan Cave, Harlan: Made 4 of 7 3-pointers in a 24-point, eight-rebound effort as the Cyclones edged Carroll Kuemper in Hawkeye Ten Conference play.
Korey Kuhlmann, Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto: The sophomore had 18 points and eight rebounds in a 55-44 Western Valley Conference win against Logan-Magnolia.
Brendan Birt, Red Oak: Sank 6 of 8 from beyond the arc and finished with 21 points and four rebounds in a 67-47 Hawkeye Ten Conference win against Clarinda.
Deontre Dean, Sioux City North: Collected 18 points and 11 rebounds in a 61-50 Missouri River Conference win against Sioux City Heelan.
Spencer Pauley, Denison-Schleswig: The sophomore came off the bench to contribute 15 points and five blocks in a 49-45 Hawkeye Ten Conference win against Council Bluffs Lewis Central.
