Like in football, Nebraska and Wisconsin will wear specially designed alternate uniforms in Sunday’s basketball game at the Devaney Center.
The uniforms are like what NBA teams wore on Christmas. There will be a one-color scheme with solid color team logos, names and numbers framed with minimal accent color.
Normally, home teams in basketball wear white but Nebraska will wear red at home.
“They’re awesome,” Ubel said. “It’s going to be cool. It’s always fun putting something on, especially wearing red at home.”
