>> Steven LaPointe, Niobara/Verdigre: Had 31 points, eight steals and seven blocks in a 55-49 comeback victory against Osmond.
>> Mitchell Mailloux, Pender: Scored 34 points against Laurel-Concord/Coleridge for his second 30-point game in as many nights.
>> Grant Lahm, Columbus Scotus: The sophomore scored 23 points in a victory over Schuyler and 28 in a victory over Norfolk Catholic.
>> Clayton Wacker and Sam McCormick, Logan View: Wacker scored 26 points against Platteview and 30 against Madison. McCormick scored 17 of his 22 points against North Bend in the third quarter.

>> Rebecca Eggerling, Creighton: She went 12 of 18 from the field and 10 of 12 at the line for 34 points in a 70-40 win over Wausa. She also had 16 rebounds.
>> Taylor Bahensky, Millard North: Scored 28 points in a win against Omaha Central.
>> Sylvia Smith-Gatson, Omaha Central: Had 20 points in the loss to Millard North.
>> Madi Braun, Bellevue West: Made six 3s against Omaha Northwest.
>> Marisa Lowe and Brooke Savage, Millard West: Lowe had 25 points in a win over Millard North. Savage had 17 points and 16 rebounds in a loss to Omaha Benson.
>> Montrese Weller, Omaha Benson: She scored 19 points in a win against Millard West.

WRESTLING
>> Ehren Schwarz, Aurora: Pinned defending Class C champion Clayton Lange of Ord in the second period of the Central City Invitational finals as the 285-pounder earned the Ryan Brandenburg Award as the meet’s most outstanding wrestler.
>> Colten Bergt, Amherst: The freshman helped the Broncos to the team title at their tournament by winning the 120-pound championship and capturing the meet’s new outstanding wrestler award. He defeated two ranked wrestlers, including second-ranked Jesse Lammers of Cedar Valley in overtime in the finals.
