Nebraska’s basketball road trip to Minnesota lasted a little longer than expected.
After Tuesday night’s 84-65 loss, the Huskers took off from Minneapolis. Their plane got to home airspace, but snow and ice in Lincoln and Omaha prevented a landing.
So the plane turned back to Minneapolis, where the NU team landed at about 1:30 a.m. On the second try Wednesday morning, the Huskers got back to Lincoln about 9:30 a.m.
