Recruiting: Tre’vell Dixon decommits (again), flips to Arizona State

Athlete Tre’vell Dixon twice committed to Nebraska. And now twice, he’s decommitted from the program.

When Signing Day rolls around tomorrow, the 6-foot-1, 195-pound athlete will sign with Arizona State, not NU, according to Husker Online.

“He was very indecisive, because he was very torn between Nebraska, Houston and Arizona State,” Baldwin (La.) West St. Mary coach Marquis Newsome told HO. “I’m guessing the trip to Arizona State went better than he led on. He kept it real close to the chest. I assumed it was between Nebraska and Houston, but whatever happened at Arizona State turned his head around and he ended committed to them.”

Dixon could have played wide receiver or safety for the Huskers. He committed to NU in January 2012, decommitted in July 2012, recommitted in January 2013, and has now decommitted again.
