Write a note to yourself to mark the calendars that you haven’t bought yet: Nebraska and Colorado are renewing their football rivalry. Starting in 2018.
The two schools have agreed to a four-game series.
Nebraska will host the first meeting on Sept. 8, 2018. Then they’ll go to Boulder in 2019 and 2023. The finale is set for Sept. 7, 2024, in Memorial Stadium.
Here’s Bo Pelini in a statement: “There is a lot of great history between Nebraska and Colorado on the football field, so I think this will be an outstanding series for both schools. I think our fans will enjoy the matchups, particularly those in western Nebraska who can make the short drive out to the games in Colorado.”
Nebraska holds a 49-18-2 edge in the all-time series.
