CAN’T-MISS FINAL
Lightweights: Class A 113. Isaac Deloa of Millard South (42-2) meets returning champion Aaron Fletcher of Omaha Burke (32-4) in a rematch of their district final that Fletcher won 6-4 in overtime. He took the lead in the season series 2-1.
Heavyweights: Class D 285. Iowa football recruit Nathan Bazata of Howells-Dodge (42-0), who’s been the runner-up the past two seasons, faces Vinny Ross of Perkins County (42-1).

SEMIFINAL SURPRISE
At Class C 138, Kyle Sutton of Central City, who came in with a 32-6 record, needed only 47 seconds to pin returning champion Blake Eisenmann of Madison. “Unbelievable,” shouted Bison coach Darin Garfield.

ATTENDANCE REPORT
After Friday night’s turnout of 10,663, the two-day attendance count is 30,428. The consolation rounds Friday drew a total of 9,729. In 2012, the two-day total was 31,174 before a finals total of 41,805.
