Recruiting: Future Huskers part of the Shrine Bowl

The Nebraska Shrine Bowl — moved from Memorial Stadium to the University of Nebraska-Kearney because of a change in NCAA rules — announced its rosters Monday for the June 1 game.

Several future Huskers — scholarship linebacker Josh Banderas and five walk-ons — will compete in the game. Here’s the list with their heights and weights as provided by the Shrine Bowl.

Tight end/defensive end Erik Evans, Waverly (6-foot-2, 230)
Punter/kicker Jordan Bellar, Norfolk Catholic (6-0, 165)
Linebacker Connor Ketter, Norfolk Catholic (6-5, 225)

Linebacker Josh Banderas, Lincoln Southwest (6-3, 220)
Fullback/linebacker Harrison Jordan, Omaha Westside (5-10, 230)
Receiver Spencer Lewis, Papillion-La Vista (6-3, 210)
Defensive back Zach Stovall, Bellevue East (5-11, 185)

Iowa signee Nathan Bazata will play for the North, as will Ohio signee Casey Sayles.
