Big Ten Network’s “The Journey” will include a segment starting Sunday on Nebraska coach Tim Miles and his parents.

Miles’ dad, Tip, recently underwent open-heart surgery in Lincoln and is staying with Miles during his rehabilitation. Miles said Thursday his dad is doing quite well in recovery.

Another health note: Avery Harriman, the 5-year-old son of Husker assistant Chris Harriman, continues his recovery from a bone-marrow transplant. Testing and monitoring continue regularly during the first 30 days post-surgery.
