THEY SAID IT

UPSET OF THE DAY
Wahoo came to state with nine losses, but the Warriors made it to the Class C-1 semifinals by defeating No. 3 Fillmore Central 45-31 as Tschida Johnson scored 11 of her 16 points in the second half.

NAIL-BITERS
So many to pick from Thursday, including two in Class A and three in Class B. Tops on the tension level were Omaha Central’s 61-60 win over Millard North in Class A and Seward’s 50-43 overtime thriller over Holdrege in Class B.
