Huskers to play Purdue

Nebraska will face Purdue at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the first round of the Big Ten men’s basketball tournament in Chicago.

The Huskers (14-17, 5-13) are the No. 10 seed. The Boilermakers (15-16, 8-10) are the No. 7 seed.

In the only regular-season meeting, Purdue beat Nebraska in Lincoln 65-56 after leading by as many as 20 points.
