NU giving Ohio State a scare

Nebraska is trying to provide another night of excitement at the Big Ten men’s basketball tournament.

The Huskers trail No. 10 Ohio State 28-23 at halftime, but have had strong stretches of play.

NU jumped to leads of 7-3, 9-4 and 15-6. Then came five turnovers in a scoreless span of 5 1/2 minutres.

Late baskets from Shavon Shields and Brandon Ubel brought Nebraska within one at 24-23 with 1:38 to go.
