The Creighton women’s basketball team will gather Monday night at 6 to learn if it’s earned a second at-large bid to the NCAA tournament.

The public is invited to join the Jays at a watch party at D.J. Sokol Arena. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

The Bluejays’ bid to earn the Valley’s automatic berth in the tournament ended Saturday with an overtime loss to Illinois State in the conference tournament semifinals. Creighton is 24-7 with a RealtimeRPI.com ranking of 41st.

The Bluejays’ only other at-large invitation to the tournament came in 1994.
