Kareem Richardson, an assistant coach at Louisville, has been named head coach at Missouri-Kansas City.

Richardson was the main recruiting contact for Louisville with Omaha Central all-state center Akoy Agau, who signed a letter of intent in November.

The connection between Richardson and Agau started back when Richardson was an assistant at Xavier and began recruiting Agau.
