Chris Riddle, Elkhorn Mount Michael: He had three hits in a win against Omaha Skutt.
Jake Peterson, Norris: He threw a three-hitter in a victory against Platte Valley.
Jake Meyers, Omaha Westside: He went 4 for 4 in a win over Omaha North.
Matt Waldron, Westside: He tossed a three-hitter to beat Lincoln North Star.
GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD
Jeralyn Poe, Lincoln North Star: At Monday’s Dan Lennon indoor meet at the University of South Dakota, the sophomore won the 1,600 meters in 5:22.75 and the 3,200 in 11:19.61.
Aaliyah Pete, Elkhorn South: The recent Colorado State recruit won the shot put at the Boys Town indoor meet with a state-leading 44-7 ¾.
Sidney Hirsch, Millard West: At the Norm Herren meet at the Dakota Dome in Vermillion, S.D., the Wichita State recruit won the 1,500 in 4:58.51 and took second in the 3,000 with a 10:23.79.
BOYS TRACK AND FIELD
Brady Weinman, South Loup: At the UNK Indoor’s Class D division, he took the season lead in the pole vault at 14-6 ¼.
