Bracket Reset: Check up on the picks from Agau, Bahe, Chubick, Gibbs
World-Herald Sports Omaha World-Herald

The World-Herald hit the reset button before the Sweet 16 to give local hoops celebrities a second shot at bracket fame. Here’s how they’ve fared:

* * *

Bruce Chubick (Former Nebraska basketball player)
Teams remaining: Louisville, Michigan
Commentary: Chubick was 3-5 in the Sweet 16 games, the worst record among our celebrities. But he managed to get two Final Four teams, including his national champion pick of Louisville.

Nick Bahe (Broadcaster and former Creighton player)
Team remaining: Louisville
Commentary: Bahe was 5-3 in Sweet 16 games, but he only advances the Cardinals to the Final Four. Louisville is also his pick for national champion.

Grant Gibbs (Creighton guard)
Teams remaining: Louisville, Michigan, Syracuse, Wichita State
Commentary: Gibbs has only missed one game in our bracket rewind. He went 7-1 in the Sweet 16 and was perfect with his Final Four picks. His fate lies in the Orange, who he picked to win the title over Louisville.

Akoy Agau (Omaha Central star and Louisville recruit)
Team remaining: Louisville
Commentary: Agau trailed Bahe by a game heading into the Elite Eight. Both have Louisville winning it all, but neither had a second Final Four team, making it impossible for Agau to rally.
