Former Creighton star Kyle Korver could be headed to Brooklyn.
ESPN’s Marc Stein reports that one NBA general manager said Korver to Brooklyn is “in the bag.”
One of the elite 3-point shooters available this NBA offseason, the Atlanta Hawks free agent averaged 10.9 points last season and shot 45.7 percent from long range, second-best in the NBA behind Detroit’s Jose Calderon (46.1 percent).
Nets GM Billy King held the same position with Philadelphia when the Sixers acquired Korver on draft day in 2002.
The NBA free-agency period began at 12:01 a.m. Stein reported the likely move on Twitter late Sunday:
