Omaha Marian setter Sydney O’Shaughnessy has given an oral commitment to attend the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

The 5-foot-8 O’Shaughnessy, who will be a senior in the upcoming school year, is a double threat for the Crusaders. She had almost 500 assists as a setter last season and pounded nearly 150 kills for Marian, which finished as the Class A runner-up.

O’Shaughnessy also had 230 digs, 47 aces and 17 blocks in 2012.
