ON OFFENSE

Can Boggs, a two-time all-state player, make up for the loss of Wiedel and Batenhorst? The number of lineman returning will help.

ON DEFENSE
There is plenty of experience returning for the Knights. But the defense will have to pick it up after allowing 56 points to David City Aquinas in a state quarterfinal loss last season.

GAME TO WATCH
At David City Aquinas, Sept. 14

DISTRICT OPPONENTS
Oakland-Craig, Tekamah-Herman, North Bend Central, Stanton

COACH’S QUOTE
“We have a lot of guys back from last year and a lot of guys we haven’t had before who are capable of being very good players. We have high expectations, we just need to work towards it. Nothing is going to be given to us.”
